Let me know in the comments if you have any video requests⭐💪 And if you wanna dive deep into the scales I'm talking about here, I have detailed courses on playwithaplan.com 🥳
Nice video, never really figured what the proper way is. For me, I tend to have the thumb over the neck on fret 1-4, thumb behind neck until fret 15 and then mish mash up until fret 22.
Now you know;) Cheers, thanks for watching🙏❤️

Noted, thanks for the suggestion! Anything within rhythm you are especially interested in?
Many thanks for the lovely video, may I know which Fender you have used on this video. Just amazing clean tones.
Means a lot, thank you! I'm playing an American-made Highway one strat (with a honey blonde finish)

Cheers, Pedro! I actually used those as well (just slightly thicker) a while back. And appreciate the kind words, my friend! You are very welcome to Play With a Plan if you decide to test it out😊⭐

This was great! Thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!
Never been disapointed in your videos! Keep it up!
Thanks, love to hear that! A lot more coming these days 😊
Good advice. Thanks for the lesson. My ear could feel like after two bars of using the same four notes that you should play a different set of four notes.
Happy it was useful!
Let me know if there's something specific you want me to cover in a future video 👇
Thanks for watching❤ This video is a part of my course 'Technique Fundamentals' which just launched! I've compressed 15 years of my most important technique learnings into this one. Check it out on playwithaplan.com 😄
Play with plan is amazing thank you so much
Cheers, makes me so happy to hear that!
Useful information, thanks
Thanks for letting me know. Happy it was useful!
It's surprisingly hard to give good advice on this cause it depends on your individual skill level, goals, etc. But with this framework you can create something that works for you. Let me know here in the comments if there's something I should go deeper into or if you have other video requests 👇
Awesome stuff!
Cheers my friend!
Sounds great! Can’t wait to learn!
Cheers!
Hi Simon! Hope all is well. How about a video teaching that guitar players should let loose? Because the trick is to practice the decent way, but the way we evolve as artists is to let go of the teachings and just enjoy what’s in our soul. That would be a cool video to see from you. Cheers mate 😎
Hi Pedro, love that suggestion! That's something I think people don't talk enough about at all. Added to the queue of videos to make 💪⭐️
@@Simenotnes you go bro
Do you set up your own guitar, intonation etc? Or do you have a technician do this for you? Perhaps another topic for you to cover..
Noted! I do it myself, I'm not a pro guitar tech by any means, but can get the job done
Practice journal. Personally i couldnt function without one.
Love it 💪
I honestly don’t know where I am at. My theory it is way behind my playing. Then again I don’t really use theory. I’m just messing around aimlessly. Fun though lol
It's important to have fun and enjoy the instrument! The best practice routine is the one you can follow. It's really fun to have at least some theory knowledge though! Makes it possible to understand the guitar at a deeper level
Videos on technique-based practice routines would be amazing!! And thanks for the content, I enjoy your channel.
Happy to hear that! And thank you, lovely suggestion 🙌
I would like to see an intermediate practice routine video. Cheers
Noted!
Based on the comments of this video I just posted a video about how to create an effective practice routine! Would love to hear what you think about it and if there something else you think I should address 🙌
I´d like to see a "how to warm up and get a good practice routine" video if possible. You are really doing a great job! Thanks a lot!
Appreciate it! And thanks for the suggestion. Quite a few has asked about creating a good practice routine, so will for sure do one about that in the near future 🙌
Thanks for watching!🥰 Let me know if there's something you want me to cover in future videos👇
I do a LOT of technique work, so there’s a great deal of sheer muscle-memory I can rely on. But what I DON’T do very often - at least on guitar - is to push myself out of my comfort zone, to play in that 20% zone you talked about. So that’s what I’ll be working on for the next few months.
Good stuff! 💪
For what it's worth i started learning guitar as a new years resolution, about 2 months in it got extremely cold and my fingers we're dangerously brittle not because of guitar but because of the weather took about 2 months to actually heal, now back on it and it's been nice I'm just follow a free program for now but this stuff is always fun to see mainly because it can give me an idea of where to go after
Happy to hear your hands are back on track! And sounds like you're on a good path. I also think the most important thing in the early stages is to just play a lot and get the reps in 💪
great video!
Thank you!
Man...I can't even play one note after another without touching other strings, the list can wait.
You'll get there. In the beginner phase it's more about getting the reps in and getting used to playing 💪
Great video. I think your bringing some important ideas of learning how to learn and how this can translate to guitar. These skills can be applied to anything in life. This is also gives context to guitar players like myself who get frustrated with progress.
Cheers! And yes absolutely, these can be used for guitar or anything in life, so it's powerful stuff!
